Danbury Street is an instrumental jazz band that was started in St. Louis in 2010 and features Doron Shapiro on bass, Jerry Fix on drums and Rex Bauer on guitar.

Our set list is weighted towards jazz standards, with an emphasis on rhythmic variety. We perform straight-ahead and soul jazz, swing, latin, blues, ballads and more.

We are available for weddings, private parties, corporate events or any other special event.

We make an effort to create an atmosphere that is vibrant, yet relaxed. We take particular care to perform at a volume level that will engage listeners without overwhelming them. If you need the energy and ambiance that live music provides, without the irritation of volume levels that inhibit personal interaction and conversation, we’re the band for you.

We can also accommodate special song requests. We look forward to providing some great music at your next event !
